01 / About

TECHNICAL BREADTH.HANDS-ON OWNERSHIP.

I'm an IT Operations Specialist with a background in Computer Engineering, working across the intersection of technology, operations and security. I take a practical, hands-on approach to IT, with an interest in understanding how systems work together, solving complex problems and building reliable technology environments.

My professional journey began with a year-long IT Infrastructure & Operations placement at Hyster-Yale, where I gained experience supporting technology within a global enterprise environment. Today, I'm the sole in-house IT Operations Specialist at a regulated financial-services organisation, where I've built and now manage much of its technology environment, taking responsibility across cloud services, infrastructure, identity, endpoint security and day-to-day IT operations.

What I enjoy most is the opportunity to take ownership of technical challenges, from understanding a problem and designing a solution through to implementation and continuous improvement. I'm particularly interested in developing secure, resilient and well-managed IT environments that support both people and businesses.
